  经常有学生的课间休息的时候，一脸迷茫的问我：“老师，怎么才能提高自己的口语水平呢？”

  对于这个问题，我自己的体会是：口语能力只是英语综合能力在某一方面的体现，因此不存在单纯的提高英语口语水平这样的说法；提高口语，必须从综合的英语能力方面着手，提高综合实力，才能真正有效的提高口语的水平。这就意味着在日常的英语口语学习和教学过程之中，我们不能简单的认为提高口语就是多说多对话。如果你说的英语包含很多词汇、应用、语法、甚至、逻辑方面的错误，那这样的英语无论说多少遍，都不可能使你的英语有任何提高。因此，我认为在培养口语水平的过程之中，其实更多的内容是在词汇、词组、句型、语法、发音、连读上多下功夫，为口语表达首先奠定坚实的基础。

  其次，我经常和学生强调“听说不分家”这个道理。什么是口语？最简单的讲，口语就是我们在口头上复述我们所听到的每一句正确的、完美的英语（即英语母语者或英语水平很高的非母语者所讲的英语）。因此，想提高口语，就必须要在听上首先多下功夫，只有在听的量上有了足够的积累，才可能张嘴去说出像样的英语；光想着去练口语而根本不努力找机会去听英语，尤其是原版标准的英语，是不可能在口语上达到很纯熟的程度的。这个道理大家一定要有深刻的理解。

  最后，我想对词汇的积累和使用方面表达一下我自己的想法。词汇的积累固然重要，但是片面的强调“数量”是没有意义的。只有能够真正做到学到的词汇会发音、会词组、会常见搭配，才能成为真正对于口语有帮助的词，才能为你的口语添彩；否则需要用的时候，意思那不准，发音不正确，搭配也错误，那还不如用同义词或者转述来的方便。因此，大家在背单词的时候，一定不能忽略学习的“质量”，争取做到学到一个词，尤其是常用词，就真正彻底的掌握了这个词，这样才能为口语的内容提供最坚实的保障。

If I was given a chance to choose one another language capability, 

I would like select Spanish. Apart from English, Spanish is recogni

zed as the most widely used language. If I could speak Spanish flu

ently, it would bring me numerous benefits in terms of employment o

pportunity, travel experience and entertainment. To start with, since 

there are more than 400 millions people speak Spanish all over the 

world; I would be capable in communicating with a great number of 

guests with their mother tongue. As a result, those guests are like

ly to have better guest satisfaction and I can also emphasis may Sp

anish capability on my resume. Furthermore, I am fascinated by the u

nique culture of Latin America and always eager to travel to there. 

As majority of nations in Latin America take Spanish as official lan

guage, seldom would I face language barrier while visiting those count

ries. Undoubtedly, I would receive better firsthand experience. Last bu

t not least, I am crazy about the Spanish Football League La Liga, B

arcelona is my most favor football team. It would become possible to 

watch original broadcast from Spanish TV stations when I learned Spanish,

 which must be amazing experience.
